While practicing gratitude can help in the healing process, it does not erase the pain of loss. Grief and gratitude are not mutually exclusive; a person can hold both feelings simultaneously. Gratitude can help you find moments of peace and hope amidst sorrow, making grief more bearable, but it cannot fill the void left by what was lost.
